The rule of this puzzle in CG is a little different from the rule you found elsewhere.
In your example, when the first line is 25, the second line is 1215 (4 digits, can be written without space).

Here, when the first line is 25, the second line is 1 25 (two numbers, with a space).

I’m not sure that this rule change adds much to the problem. I don’t understand why it’s either necessary or useful.

Mathematician John Horton Conway passed away of COVID-19 on 11 April 2020, at age 82.
The look-and-say sequence that is featured in this puzzle was introduced and analyzed by him.
