Error messages escaped too often. Html entities show up

When programming in Haskell the error messages seem to be escaped once too often:
The arrow “->” is printed as html entity “- & g t ;” in the output window. (I interleaved it with spaces, otherwise it’s printed as “->” in the forum.)
