Updating compiler versions / Multiple compiler version support

Hey there,

Can you, the developers behind CodinGame, give us some insights on how the programming language versions get updated to the latest version listed under the FAQ page?

For example the Dart (1.7.2) and PHP (5.4.34) versions are kinda outdated :wink:

Any plans on regular updates or supporting multiple versions at once?

Hi ronlobo,

Nearly all languages were updated a few months ago.
Php was kept due to compatibility reasons.

BTW, we’re considering to let the community implement and maintain programming languages on CodinGame, but it requires some changes on our side before, so … it’s coming.
