Bash, Perl, ruby and python. There are the 4 most used in this case and you can call them from almost every other languages.

One can get more points for golfing then from optimizations or contests.

Actually that is not the case.
Being #1 in 5 languages in all golf puzzles yields 26k CP.
Being #1 in last 3 contests yields 28.5k CP.
Being #1 in all the ~15 optims yields around 33k CP.
Being good in the multi bot programming section is by far the largest source of CP, max is over 200k.
Additionally, going to Legend in all the multis and contests brings more XP then solving all the solo puzzles.
I think the reward system at CG is well balanced.

Max CP in code golf : 27000
Max CP in contests : 28500
Max CP in optims : 37500 (if there are 500 players for each)
You win more CP in code golf than optim/contest if you are better in codegolf than optim/contest. Not so wrong. Being first in every languages because you’re good with ruby or bash, that is wrong !

Another thing may be wrong, but I guess it is not important since the reward is only 200 cp … you got the entire reward even if you are the only one player in the language. You will never win 2500 cp if you are alone in an optim.

How many coders can be #1 at ones in a, b and c?
To win 28500 CP in contest, you have to be first in only 3 contests. To win 37500 CP in optims you have to be first in only 15 optims. To win 27000 CP in codegolf, you have to be first in 27 puzzles * 5 languages = 135 solutions. I understand that winning a codegolf is easier than a contest, but don’t forget that you only win 200 CP with a codegolf. And if it were so easy, there would be a lot of people with 27000 CP. But I see much more people with more than 20000 CP in contest than in codegolf.
