Good catch! I need to be better at looking at past puzzles. At the time, I had only done 185(ish) puzzles on Codingame and this was not one of them, but I could have found this with a simple search.
MMMM? I’m not convinced the Romans would have considered this valid.
While part of the solution of the other puzzle may be recycled and used here, it’s not like the whole solution can be copied and pasted to this new puzzle. Just like there are many pathfinding puzzles here, but most of them are distinct enough.

I never used MMMM in the puzzle. In fact, I specifically set an upper constraint of 3999 to avoid barred numerals (4000+).
