That would take quite some effort for each input value. If the inputs are strings or list-like as well as the output, this may not be feasible. I think that is why it seems that there are few hard-coded solutions to the Chuck Norris puzzle.
I never really tried the code golf puzzles. The only thing I know: Thor never goes north.
A hardcoded solution for Chuck Norris or Temperature would be longer than a generic solution. Thor is an exception since you can hardcode a solution reading only the first character of the inputs and skip the loop statement.
