Are events different from contests?

Hi,

I see that there is a “Clash of Code” event starting soon. Are events the same as contests, or are they just scheduled organizations and they still count as Clash of Code rankings?

Event != Contest, unless it is a multi.

The Coc event is like other coc, they still count in the Coc ranking, the only difference is that you know in advance the mode (fastest, reverse or shortest) and there is a mandatory language.
