Hello,
I have just done the code for Surakarta. Globally the tests are passed , except the one “Pass on yourself” where I find “2” possible ways, and the test says that “4” is expected.
When I do it by my own (without the programming), I think that “2” is the right value (starting to the left or to the right).
I do not understand how we can find 4 possible ways. If I start Up or Down, the part only goes back to its initial poistion with the right direction, wihtout going throught the opponent part.
Maybe I missed or did not understand a rule.
Could you help and explain this case ?
Thank you
You’re X, and the opponent is O. If O was you and X was the opponent then there are 2 ways, and if X is you and O is opponent, then there are 4 ways in this test.
Thank you very much for your answer.
Yes , this was indeed my mistake .
Now I have inverted both symbols, and all works
Thanks again
