It would be nice to have tool in the contribution edit section that checks the contribution input for trailing spaces and line breaks. It could even do it automatically and show a warning sign when there could be such errors in the input.
You could then check a box for this contribution, “Does not apply”, if based on the input description there is no need for this warning. Or the warning can just be ignored.
