Low latency and scalability of codingame

hello developers at codingame, I’d appreciate it a lot if you can improve the latency and scalability of this plateform. It’s really very very slow to rate an AI.

I disagree. It only takes like 30 minutes to rate an AI. In other contests (like Google AI Challenge) it would take days/weeks!

It depends on what time you push your IA. For example I pushed mine 2 hours ago and I’m only at 50%.
Yesterday afternoon and evening it was also very slow but if you have the oportunity to push on the morning in France it is usually fast.

Well, it’d be faster for sure if we’d have to pay for it.
Would you pay for membership Hui?

I don’t know what’s going on, but when I press fight in arena, I have to wait half day long to reach 100%… It is very hard to test your AI like this… I don’t know if it’s only me, or others have the same issue, but I just don’t have the time to wait that much… :frowning:

It has definitely gotten slower as the leaderboard has grown. During the day it can take over 2 hours now. I think if they had limited it to 2 player games it would have been much quicker. Definitely something they need to consider for the next contest.

Hi guys,

Just to let you know that we fixed an issue regarding ranking: one particular Python AI was blocking for 5 minutes all other AIs it was involved with in a fight. These “5 minutes” could happen several times per submission.

It should be much faster now.
