I solve this level with 306l fuel left but do not get the economic reward:
Solve the 1st validation test with at least 300l of fuel remaining on “Mars Lander - Level 1” puzzle.

Is it only possible to get this award on the first time?

You need to get this for the first validation test, not the test in the IDE. The validation test is the one used to calculate your result; it is visible on the results page that opens when you submit your code.
