I notice that there is an achievement for solving the puzzle of the week. I must be struggling, because I cannot find where on the website the puzzle of the week is. A pointer would be much appreciated 
That used to be a regular event. The last puzzle featured to be the puzzle of the week is here; I’m not sure whether completing that will give you the achievement or not.

Yes, solving the ASCII 3D engine puzzle gets you the achievement.
The puzzle is pretty hard though (28% success rate), I spent more than a week on it, so I’m not sure if it’s worth the 100xp.
