Scala minor version upgrade

Hi,

according to the FAQ the current Scala version is 2.11.4 which has been released 2 years ago.

Could someone from the platform team please upgrade to 2.11.8.

Bonus question: Which JVM version is currently used to run the platform’s Scala code? It might be interesting to add this information to the FAQ :wink:

The entry in FAQ remains unchanged.
Meanwhile Scala 2.12 was released (currently 2.12.1) which brings significant speed improvement thanks to use of invokedynamic.

Can we have an upgrade, please?
