Same problem as for Rust, Swift is very slow without Release mode.

Is there any plan to have Swift on par with Rust ?

I would really like to compete for the Fall Challenge 2020, but without Release mode, there is no way to compete using Swift …

No plans yet. I plan on pushing for some updates regarding the languages before the Spring Challenge

Swift is a very capable language , it could be a good competitor to the usual C++ :grinning:
