It would be a tremendous improvement over the existing user experience to debounce the network failure toast (i.e. that blood-pressure-red failure dialog that informs of network connectivity issues) so that it doesn’t pop up every few hundred milliseconds. Even waiting until previous notification has been cleared would be an improvement. Given the already less than leisurely circumstances of long distance train travel, I don’t consider it prudent to also remind me that the wifi is spotty more than once a second.
